Lara Bay
Also known as turtle beach at Lara Bay and is north of Paphos in the Akamas Peninsula, Cyprus Here the mountains slope down to the sea and is accessible (for the most part) only along unsurfaced tracks that are several miles long. The beaches and views in the Akamas Peninsula are simply spectacular. They include Lara (turtle beach) Bay , a turtle sanctuary on a long stretch of coastline where attempts are being made to protect turtles and provide safe sites for their egg laying.
Coral BayLara Bay
Coral Bay itself is a 600m crescent of soft white sand, book-ended by a pair of headlands. It is home to a handful of top-notch hotels and the neighbouring marina looks set for completion in the near future. However, it's the glassy waters offshore that everyone comes for. While the sea is calm year-round the same can't be said of the beach, where you'll find every conceivable activity from banana boat rides to jet skis for hire.
Cruising In Paphos
Cruising in Paphos is a major holiday pastime with plenty of choice for everyone. Whether you wish to sail the coastline of Paphos or venture further afield on a few days mini cruise, the options are numerous and varied.

The Ottomans then both restored and strengthened the structure once they had taken capture of the island.
Paphos Fort has taken many forms in its long and captivating past. Once a Roman castle, a feudal castle, a Turkish tower and a British salt warehouse, Paphos Fort now remains empty and unused, except as a tourist attraction, where for a small fee you can enter and let your imagination run wild as you think of all the history these walls contain.
Tombs of the Kings
About 2 miles northwards of the Old Harbour you will find the Tombs of the Kings. The tombs are impressive enough to be worthy of kings. They are burial caves carved into the bedrock of the hill and decorated with Doric columns and capitals; they date from the 4th century BC. You can freely walk about the place once inside, searching through the rooms of the tombs, with parts underground carved into the rock. The men who than unrevealed these tombs took their body parts and threw them in a near by riv
